National Great Blacks In Wax Museum Induction

website
On October 20, 2006, Howard E. Rollins Jr. was inducted into the Great Blacks in Wax Museum located in Baltimore, MD. The unveiling of his likeness in wax was  held at the historical Senator Theater in Baltimore. The star studded event called "An Evening With Howard," included former NAACP President Kweisi Mfume who served as Master of Ceremony and special keynote speaker Producer John Waters who is a native Baltimorean himself. The audience was captivated with the unique sense of humor in true John Waters fashion. The wax figure is on display at the National Great Blacks in Wax Museum. Mr. Rollins is amongst many other great wax figures such as General Colin Powell, Dr. Benjamin Carson, Billy Holiday and Langston Hughes, just  to name a few.
